Wygent "Synthe-Drone" Drone Reeds
Because the body of the reed is fashioned from a cellulose (woodfibre)
polymer, they produce a tonal range identical to cane, butwith none
of the drawbacks associated with that substance. Capable of fullmid-tone
reproduction, they are a rich full sounding reed. And with theaddition
of a threaded tuning pin at the bottom, they are fully adjustable- from
a clear, bold sound, to a more muted "solo" blend. They are preadjusted,virtually
impervious to moisture and temperature changes, and are extremelys teady.

Each reed is handmade, individually adjusted and tested in a drone priorto
shipment. They are not mass produced. * They come with a retaining elastic

The new synthetic alternative to cane reeds, available in soft, medium
or strong from Hughes & McLeod Ltd. The reeds are preset to play right
out of the package but come with detailed instructions for fine tuning
them.
